About Hurstspeech Story
Hurstspeech was founded in 2006 by Linda Hurst. Linda has over 20 years experience as a Speech Pathologist. She engages Speech Pathologists to be part of a revolutional team in the delivery of extraordinary speech and language therapy that makes a difference to their clients’ lives.
The clinic has two locations: Parramatta and The Hunter Valley – Singleton.
The Speech Pathologists at this clinic have the knowledge & experience to help you with communication and learning problems such as poor speech, voice or fluency difficulties, poor language skills, difficulty learning to read and spell, late talkers and autism.

I will need to reword NDIS Ready
NDIS has recently commenced in both Parramatta and the Upper Hunter.
Families are starting to bring their plans along to discuss their individual children’s needs and how Hurstspeech can assist in achieving these goals.

A member of Speech Pathology Australia
All Speech Pathologists are registered practising members of Speech Pathology Australia. As part of this registration all Speech Pathologists attend regular workshops and in services to ensure they are skills in the latest techniques and treatment methods.
Medicare & Health Fund Registered
All Speech Pathologists have active membership with Medicare Australia and all Health Funds. Contact your health fund for information on your individual cover and any rebates you are eligible for.
For medicare rebates discuss your child’s speech and language needs with your local GP. Your GP will be able to guild you regarding medicare rebates and your child’s eligibility for the Chronic Disease Management Program
